After so many challenges throughout 2020, we are looking forward with optimism that 2021 will be a better year. Here at Wasewagan On The River, the roller-coaster ride of last year took us on a full summer season of cancelled camp sessions and brought fires too close for comfort. In the true camp spirit, we pick ourselves up and keep moving forward! We continue to watch the Covid-19 situation as it develops, and as the summer camp season approaches you can be sure that we will be following every precaution and taking every measure to make sure that our camp is safe, sanitary, and ready for a full summer of the camp sessions that we have built our reputation upon!
For many, this past year saw us spending more time indoors than ever before. Maybe we haven’t been quite as active as we previously were, and we likely haven’t had as much time with family and friends. We are hopeful that by this summer we will be in a situation that allows our campers to gather at Camp Wasewagan once again for an amazing summer full of outdoor adventure and games! Time spent outdoors is the greatest therapy that a weary mind can get, and our camp sessions are all about fun in the sun. Canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding on the lake are just a few ways to unwind and tune in to the natural world here at Camp Wasewagan.
Keep an eye out for updates in the coming months for info and updates on summer camp registration, as we will frequently be posting updates on our status, remaining vigilant as the health situation of our nation unfolds. Stay tuned and we look forward to seeing all of our new and returning campers alike for an awesome summer of Wasewagan On The River Summer Camp 2021!
